Question I do not have a perfect body, I've had surgery, and I am overweight. Will I feel out of place with a bunch of "perfect hard bodies" staring or making fun of me?
Answer Absolutely not! First everyone already has a perfect body, it is the body you inhabit 24 hours a day, every day of your life,and it serves you well. Do you look like a Playboy model or male stripper? Probably not, but then how many people do you know, even in the textile world, that do? The Bare Campers is made up of a diverse group of people representing a wide range of ages,cultures,backgrounds and experiences. Our members come in all shapes, sizes and ages. We believe in "Body Acceptance" which is the first step in an enjoyable nudist experience. Here you can just be YOU!

Question Is this a safe and healthy lifestyle to bring my children into?
Answer Yes, the Bare Campers provide a safe, non-sexual environment where kids can just be kids. Children make the most natural nudists of all. They learn and practice respect for the "person" instead of the facade. Living and growing up in a nudist environment helps to educate children and dispel the myths and curiosities they have about "growing up". Naturists make it a point to look out for the children. Question I am a single woman. Will I be safe? I don't want to be "stalked after", stared at, or "hit on".
Answer The chances of being inappropiately "hit on", etc. are much less than most public functions you currently attend. We maintain high moral standards of conduct at the Bare Campers. Inappropriate behavior is not tolerated, no means NO!

Question Do I have to be nude if I am not comfortable?
Answer The Bare Campers is a nudist club (not clothing optional) everyone is expected to be nude health and weather permitting. Newcomers are allowed an adjustment period not to exceed their second visit. If you are not comfortable in a nude environment, you probably do not belong there.

Question Just what do you do at your nude functions?
Answer The same things other people do when clothed. We have simply given ourselves permission to enjoy our activities without the restriction of clothing.

Question I've heard that you are all "swingers" and have sex orgies.
Answer Absolutely NOT! The Bare Campers is a NON-SEXUAL, family friendly organization affiliated with the American Association for Nude Recreation. We maintain high moral standards based on Christian principles. We do not allow or tolerate sexual behavior at club functions. We set our standards for touching and displaying affectionate behavior at the same standard,or higher, than that of a fully clothed family oriented public environment.
